Our client, a Financial Services company, is looking to bring on a Project Manager with Data Analysis to be based between NYC and Jersey City, NJ. This position is on a HYBRID basis and will be split between NYC and Jersey City, NJ. The contract duration is 6 months with possible extension. *W2 and Local only.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This person must have financial industry background. This role will be very heavy on data analysis, cleanup, etc. This is a very big strategic project for our client so this person will need to have a strong analytical background and the ability to think and do more than just check boxes. Be able to assess and identify trends within the data.

This role will have the potential to evolve into a more senior position with more responsibility, so this person needs to be able to adapt to that change and absorb the responsibilities where needed. This person needs to be a self-driven person who can manage day to day with little instruction.

This person will have project deliverables daily. On a day to day, they will coordinate more across the various workstreams and groups to ensure the project functions smoothly. They will have coordination responsibilities to ensure workstreams and teams are meeting deadlines and deliverables. They will have some presentation to management on project updates. Supporting a global team and need to have confidence going right to the head of business and not always going direct to manager.

TOP must-have skills (Measurable skills, technologies, etc.)

Experience designing and operating frameworks and financial models to guide executive decisions in complex business problems.
Experience in negotiation and conflict management to effectively resolve differences and turn challenges into opportunities.
Experience working closely with technology delivery teams to ensure the solutions delivered satisfy the requirements.
Knowledge of Financial Services and Global Banking & Issuer Services is preferable, but not essential.
Knowledge of Service Delivery Led Change, as well as Waterfall and Agile project delivery methods.
Strong stakeholder management complemented with excellent collaboration skills.
Effective and flexible communication skills
